though I am not skilled at carpentry

I was planning to paint the wood with oils to seal out wet weather
but then this snow came
I fear that the thing I built may be ruined now
and I sank all of my savings gold into it
and I avoided telling you for weeks

Not all by myself I paid for the business and then was able to hire refugees who wanted work and food to help me and they were very nice
